Books for Kids

If you’ve been around my YouTube channel for a while, you know my kids LOVE TO READ..and they have read such a variety of books over the years. I’ve separated each book into two categories: “Picture Books” and “Read Alouds & Readers” For each list, you can click on the image or title of the book to see it on my Amazon page.

Picture Books

We use picture books a lot in our homeschool, especially in our morning basket. I like to switch out the themes to go along with the seasons, holidays, science or history unit studies, Home & Haven seasonal bundles, or to pair with our traveling adventures. Check them out and see if any pop out to you!

Read Alouds & Readers

All but one of my kids have finished the elementary years of their homeschooling journey and as my kids continue to get older, we are always searching for new readers they will enjoy. It is so important to find good quality books for this age as they can be so influential. These have been some of our favorites. I’ve separated these based on genre and type of book rather by age group. Check out the age recommendations on Amazon and make your best judgement when choosing a book to read aloud to your family or for your child to read.

The Good and Beautiful Library

Many of the books in our homeschool room are part of the Good and Beautiful Library. We already know that they are good books because they pre-screen the content so we don't have to. Check out their library and their book list.

Be sure to check out my other book lists!
